4 international airlines to be opened or reopened in Chongqing airport


CHONGQING (CQNEWS) ¨C It is reported that, after the coordination with airways, Chongqing airport plans to newly open or reopen 4 international airlines to satisfy passengers¡¯ need for summer travel.

Relevant staffs of Chongqing airport stated that since the summer vacation began on July 1, the airport has welcomed peak travel days. So, Chongqing airport opened or reopened 4 international airlines, including a newly opened line by Tianjin Airlines from Chongqing to Irkutsk on July 18, three times a week; the newly opened line by Airline of Indonesia, from Chongqing to Bintan Island on July 23, once every five days; the reopened line by Bangkok Airline from Chongqing to Koh Samui on July 23, three times per week, and a line by Malindo air from Chongqing to Sabah on July 24, once every five days.

This reporter also learned that within this year, Chongqing airport will also open two new intercontinental airlines from Chongqing to New York and Melbourne; it also plans to operate airlines from Chongqing to Vientiane, Siem Reap, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; airlines from Chongqing to Phuket will also been intensified so as to improve the network of Chongqing international airlines and provide convenience of travel for passengers.
